There is an enormous benefit for senior executives to have the ability to access unlimited drill-down of KPIs. One of the challenges in achieving this ability is the requirement that goals are established for each of these drill-down levels. The effort to establish defined goals manually for all these levels of the company often is daunting and is a fundamental limiting factor for widespread use of KPIs.
