For certain data sources, the vendor of the source operational system is required to export data from their proprietary data base to the open BIAnalytix staging schema on a nightly basis. The project consulting budget includes the Decentrix consulting hours to advise and test the extract. The Vendor costs, if any, to develop the extract to the staging schema will need to be obtained from the Vendor. Since we provide the Staging Schema and guide the entire extract process with the Vendor, we can say that this extract work has previously involved approximately 3 to 4 weeks of the Vendor’s time.
Decentrix can create extract routines for unsupported Vendor products on a consulting engagement basis, and has done so for a variety of Media centric source systems.
